The Hyperlite Frotha is the ultimate wakesurf, shaped to provide a bit of everything with an unparalleled feel and comfort on the water. Made from Super Brands surfboards, the Frotha is one of the only boards around, complete with full PU core and layup, finished by hand to utter perfection. Adding in a full timber stringer and a Carbon top stringer adds to the feel and overall response of the board, keeping it lively. A traditional surf style shape gives the Frotha its incredible feel. Smooth, soft edges all combine with a tapered design that creates an incredible mix of speed and balance, making sure you never feel like you’ve overpowered the surfer. Underneath, you have a mellow tail flute, allowing for that simple smooth direction and response that you want to drive up waves and create those big slashes. From Bells to the boat, the Frotha is the surfer you want to make it feel like you never left the beach.
Materials & Construction
- PU Core – A light, durable surfer core, keeping the board light and comfortable underfoot with plenty of response.
- Wood Stringer – Full length along the length of the board from top to bottom, allows the surfer to flex naturally as a true surfboard would, creating a greater feel through the board.
- Carbon Stringer – Giving a little bit of added stiffness through the top half of the board, allowing for snappy responses on transitions.
- PU Lay-up – A soft blended fibreglass layout derived from true surfboard construction for the ultimate surf feel.
Shape
- Traditional Surf Profile – Mellow Rails, Tapered Tip, and Tail create the ultimate feel and glide through edges, creating more speed and balance than any other surfer on the market, making sure you never feel uncomfortable or have overpowered the surfer to be too close to the boat.
Base
- Mellow Dual Tail Flute – Drives water out between the fins, allowing the surfer to channel through edges as well as providing drive up the wake.
